Maternal & Child Health

Improving maternal health and child survival outcomes in Ghana is a key program area for Ene. Most recently, in the Kissiflui traditional area, Ene established an Ultrasound scanning unit in a rural health center to enable pregnant women to have access to ultrasound scanning/imaging services to help prevent complications in the mother and her unborn baby.

In addition to these program, Ene Empower partners with local NGOs to improve routine immunizations for children in rural Ghana. This project installed solar panels and provided vaccine refrigerators in Ho-west District of the Volta Region.
